Responsibilities:
- As a software verification engineer, you will join a growing team of engineers developing manageability software for storage products. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for functional and system level verification of the storage products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards
- Develop and execute unit and build verification test plans and suites, track and report test status.
- Develop test scripts, test plans and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, following standard revision control, bug tracking, and release practices
- Experience : 0 – 5 Years
- Location : Bengaluru/Bangalore
- Education : UG – B.Sc – Computers, Electronics,B.Tech/B.E.,BCA PG – Any PG Course – Any Specialization,Post Graduation Not Required,M.Sc – Any Specialization,M.Tech – Any Specialization,MCA – Computers
Desired Candidate Profile :
Qualifications:
- BSEE or BS Computer Science/Math, or equivalent
- 0-5+ years of professional experience in software verification
- Experience testing storage products
- Experience in test scripting (PERL, C etc)
- Experience in software testing, documentation and process improvement
- Demonstrated understanding of hardware/software interface issues and understanding of hardware system designs
- Superior debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of storage technologies – SCSI, SAS/SATA, and RAID
- Understanding of storage management interfaces, APIs and libraries
