Desired Candidate Profile:

As a Trainee E-Commerce Specialist you will take an active role with on-site enhancements, Social networking & link-building initiatives that are core to achieving our traffic growth goals. You will solicit key stakeholder needs to help determine which projects produce the most value on our E-commerce Platforms.

You will work with some of the smartest SEO folks in the business. We are building great content and new products that are driving more and more traffic to our product oriented site from Google and other search engines. Get the chance to implement off-page search engine optimization strategies for our product oriented ecommerce websites.

• You will promote article content via social bookmarking
• You will be responsible for monitoring our online reputation
• You will help identify opportunities for high-quality inbound links for SEO purposes
• You will optimize existing links by reaching out to sites that contain sub-optimal links
• You will identify and contact websites that link to competitors
• You will recommend optimal internal links within new content
• You will be responsible for increasing the visibility for article and press release submissions
• You will participate in Social Media communities and forums to stay up-to-date on industry knowledge
• You will work cross-departmentally with Management, Editorial & Marketing
• You will work cross-functionally with SEO Manager, Developers, User Experience Designers, Visual Designers in a collaborative and iterative manner.
